Hello, my name is Adrianna Gomez, but you can just call me Adri. Welcome to my shop, Polished Needle, I am so excited to have you here.
Polished Needle focuses on the art of beading. All of my pieces are handmade using glass seed beads.
I would love to tell you a little bit more about me and how Polished Needle came to be. I am a proud Mexicana, with native roots from Córdoba, Veracruz, Mexico. I was born in Arizona but at a young age moved to Mexico, making Spanish my first language. I lived 7 years of my childhood in-between Amatlán de Los Reyes, Veracruz and Cuidad Juárez, Chihuahua.
My family migrated to Lexington, Kentucky at what was the start of 2nd grade for me. Ever since then, Kentucky has been our "home" away from home.
We left a lot in our homeland, but we also took a lot with us. My memories are the most beautiful thing to me. I am inspired by the land that raised me and the land that I miss. I am inspired by my family in Mexico that are artesanos/artisians. I am a proud artesana Mexicana/Mexican artisan.
For most of my jewelry designs, I draw inspiration from my culture, land, and people.

This story now brings us to today. I am currently living in Kentucky. Majority of my family still lives in Kentucky and Verazruz.
Fun facts about me: I am the biggest Billy Joel fan, I love to cook, I love nature and everything about the outdoors.
